Geanice Barganier

Geanice Barganier is Chief Client Officer at Foothold America, the go-to-market partner for international businesses entering the US market. Based in Tampa, Florida, she has been with Foothold America for over seven years, rising through a series of progressive leadership roles from Senior HR and Client Engagement Manager to Director of Operations, Vice President of People and Operations, and now Chief Client Officer.

With over 20 years of experience spanning HR operations, global immigration, employee relations, and client services, Geanice holds a degree in Social Sciences from Mississippi Valley State University.

Few people understand the operational complexity of employing people in the US as well as Geanice does. Her 16 years at PwC managing global immigration and HR operations for multinational clients, combined with seven years advising international companies at Foothold America, means she has seen virtually every employment challenge a foreign business can face in the American market.

From labor law compliance and employee relations to benefits administration and workforce planning, she is the person international HR teams turn to when they need someone who has been there before.

At Foothold America, Geanice oversees client strategy and relationship management across the company’s service portfolio, covering Employer of Record services, PEO+ Cross-Border Support, People Partnership Service, and Cultural Intelligence Advisory. She is responsible for ensuring that international companies entering the US market receive the compliance support, HR infrastructure, and operational guidance they need to hire and manage employees confidently from day one.

Her background in US and HR compliance, labor and employment law, succession planning, and organisational development gives her a grounding in the legal and operational realities that international businesses encounter when establishing a US presence. Geanice is also a board member of Foothold America and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
